SMS and email to chosen clients: the whole database, by tag, or a list. Campaign history, send statuses, and errors in one place.
A visit reminder is one thing. An email “we have a new schedule” or “March packages” is another. The second should not live in the receptionist’s personal chats. In SmartBook bulk sends are assembled as a campaign: channel, text, who, send.
Recipients can be everyone, marked with a tag, or a narrowed list. After sending you can see how many went out, how many failed, when the campaign was created. If the database is empty — the screen honestly offers to create the first campaign, without an empty table that says “total: 0”.
A short “Saturday slots still open” lands better in SMS. A long “what is included in the package” belongs in an email. You pick the channel per campaign, not for the whole account forever.
The email “you are booked for Tuesday at 18:00” goes out by itself if notifications are on. A campaign is when you yourself decide to write to a batch of people. Mixing them up in your head is harmful: the client gets angry if after a visit confirmation they also get an ad in the same tone as “you are booked”.
Once a month — the “quiet” people from RFM. Before holidays — certificates. When you open a group slot — those who have a tag for that discipline. Not every day and not to the whole database at once: otherwise unsubscribes and complaints.
